Mary C. Napier, PA-C, MPH


A Florida native, Mary C. Napier, PA-C. MPH was born and raised here in the Sunshine state.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Stetson University and went on to complete a Master of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Before and during her MPH studies, Mary worked as a clinical research coordinator and conducted research on skin cancer-related behaviors, which was later published in collaboration with Western Sydney University in Australia.

Mary continued her medical training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned her second master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a nationally board-certified physician assistant and an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Mary has developed a strong expertise in dermatology through her clinical work, particularly in the early detection and management of skin cancer. After working closely with Dr. Bowman for over a year, she became highly skilled at performing comprehensive total body skin exams and identifying atypical lesions. Her approach emphasizes early intervention, and she utilizes a variety of effective treatments for sun-damaged skin, precancerous lesions, and skin cancers. When surgical treatment is necessary, Mary conducts thorough preoperative evaluations and patient consultations.

Currently, Mary lives in Tampa with her husband and their mini Australian shepherd. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watercolor painting, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
